Birthday Gift for Step-sister
My Step-Sister’s birthday is coming up in June and I’m already thinking of what to get her this year. She’s not a very picky person – so it’s not that hard getting her gifts – but I do want to get her things that she wants and need. I’m thinking of getting her a few hip hop clothing but there’s just too much to pick from. I’m debating if I should just pick out the clothes for her or just get her a gift card – so she can go pick it herself. Gift cards can become handy too! Any suggestions on this?
Calgary Apartment for Rent
My brother is heading to Calgary within a month for University and is looking for Calgary apartments for rent for a year. He’s going for a year to see how he likes it there. I never thought he would move out of Toronto for school but looks like this time he’s for real about what he wants to do with his life. I’m happy for him to know what he wants in life – so now I’m just helping him with finding an apartment to rent. It’s quite hard when he’s not there looking at the apartment. Everything has to be done online this time. Let’s hope we find something that he likes and affordable too!
Storage Cabinet from Dollarama
These are some of the storage cabinet I got from Dollarama at two bucks a piece. Not so bad eh? I mean – I’m only using it for the little munchkin for now – later I can use it to store his toys when he’s a lot older. There’s other colors too but since munchkin is a boy – baby blue it is. I believe there is baby pink too – that’s if I have a baby girl though! *hehehe*
Tim Horton’s Donuts
Now that this little munchkin is out from my tummy – I can eat whatever I want. Well – not really. I’m no longer watching my carbohydrates but I gotta watch for my calories content now because I do want to lose my baby weight right away. But how can I resist from Tim Horton’s donuts right? A family friend bought these over to our place and I just can’t resist on saying no. After I had one – I went online to search up how much calories is in one of these donuts. Are you curious to know too? Here – click to read more – you’ll be shocked how much calories is in one of these donuts. I gotta stay away from these for awhile till I get my desire weight back.
Planning for a Baptism
Our little man is coming out within less than a month and I haven’t even got into asking about his baptism yet. I should of done this long long time ago but never got into it. I should get on this case this week and set up a baptism date for him. One thing I did already was to look for personalized baptism gifts for him – I want him to receive something special from his parents on this special day of his life. Now – all I gotta do is talk to the Church and set up a baptism date. I hope he’ll be baptized by Easter this year.
My Blogging Experience
I’ve been blogging for a good two years – coming three years. It’s been such a great experience because it gives me an opportunity to work from home and on a very flexible schedule. Even with holding a part time or full time job – one can still earn money online. It’s like having a part time job on the side but you can work in a very flexible schedule. I say it’s a great job for stay at home mother that takes care of kids and can still earn an income to help out maintaining a family. I know a few very successful bloggers that makes a very large amount of income by just blogging and I hope one day I’ll be there too. Now talking about blogging – I gotta go research more about web conferencing solution – there’s a lot to know in the blogging world!
Valentine’s day gift for the man
Valentine’s day was just a few days ago and as usual Hub got me flowers, gifts and took me out for a romantic dinner. It’s our fourth Valentine’s day spent together already and every Valentine’s day feel the same. Not that he’s not romantic but I like it this way too. Usually I would make dinner at home but this Valentine’s day is a bit different because of being pregnant – I didn’t want to do too much work in the kitchen. This Valentine’s day I got the hubby a gibson es 339 guitar – he loves collecting guitars – so I thought it would be nice to get him a fancy one for his collection.
When to buy gold?
I’m thinking about using both my husband and my red pockets to buy gold bullion this year – it’s always good to buy gold because it goes up in value and it’s just more safe that way. I always believe in gold – gold will always go up in value. But when is it the best time to buy it? I’ve been given many advice not to buy it right now because the gold market is going down and let it go down a bit more first. I guess I shall take this advice and wait a bit more first – just in case right?
Home Furniture
For myself – I prefer furniture that matches because it just looks more neat that way. I’ve lived my life with things that don’t match and it reallt bothered me. Not a lot of furniture stores here for unique furniture but if I was to live in Los Angeles – I probably go bankrupt buying furniture. There’s many los angeles furniture shops there and they have really antique and unique pieces of furniture! I wish they have those stores here in Toronto!
Packing up the Christmas Ornaments
Is there such thing call “winter cleaning” ??? I’ve been doing some winter cleaning and just storing things back in the storage room. A lot of things is in the storage room and thank goodness it’s all organized in boxes. Just to name a few things – gmax helmets, winter gears, Christmas trees, and just festive ornaments. In my future home – I would need a huge storage area to store my house stuff. Every holiday has a different theme and I’ll be having a lot of decorations for each Holiday.
