Ikea Furnitures
When I first dated my Hubby some four years ago – Ikea was one of the places we go to often. I guess Hub and I have the same interest with furniture and interior designing. What I enjoyed the most is how they put the kitchens together for their show room. I took a picture of this one – I probably want to change it up a bit and add two ceiling fans with lights because cooking in the kitchen can be sweaty. Other than adding the ceiling fans – I think this kitchen is perfect!
My Dream Kitchen
I took these pictures at Ikea when I visited just a couple months ago – they have glamorous kitchens and I love how they use granite houston for their counters! I want a kitchen like this in the future with all stainless steel appliances too! Kitchen is a women thing and Hub have been telling me how he wants to learn how to cook too. My reply was “get out of my kitchen!” *hahahaha*
Dinner Outtings
Hub and I enjoy dining out during the weekends. It’s just relaxing and a joy for us to be able to dine out every weekend. It has become an habit of ours and now even with having a baby – we still dine out too. Maybe a little bit less than before but we still do. During the weekend – we headed out to a dine and wine restaurant and there was a music-man singing and playing his guitar. Gotta admit – it’s pretty relaxing while eating dinner and listening to someone sing.
Backyard Gadgets
Toronto’s weather’s been such an headache lately – I have no idea when we are going to see summer this year but hopefully soon because I want to get our backyard fixed up and looking pretty this year. I love hosting parties and having the party in our backyard is quite relaxing. Too bad we don’t have a pool but for sure we are looking into getting charcoal grills – so we can barbecue with our friends. I’m hoping for a fun and relaxing summer this year – no more vacationing till our munchkin is a lot older.
Super Busy Weekends
If you think your weekends are busy – you have no idea how busy mine is! I feel like time is never enough during the weekend because I want to get a lot done and with the munchkin around – I can’t get anything done. Even with my husband being home – it’s still very hard. Talking about busy – I just finished doing some apidextra reviews today when the munchkin is sleeping. I gotta find time to do things when the munchkin is sleeping now. That’s life right? Motherhood is busy but it’s a joy.
Lobster lunch at Amigo Steakhouse
Had a super late lunch at Amigo with my husband because we had to check out steel buildings specials at Oakville during the morning and it took longer than I thought. But good thing we went today – otherwise we wouldn’t be able to check them out because of our busy busy schedule. Anyways – back to our lobster lunch – we decided to treat ourselves a yummilicious lunch because we did work hard this week. Besides that – we deserve it! Gotta treat yourself once in awhile right?
Looking for a Physician?
I’ve done quite a bit of research about the domixity system lately because a family friend’s been having difficulty looking for a physician in her area. It wasn’t a challange helping her because right when I found that there is a domixity system that helps people to look for a physician in their area – it was like a few second thing searching. James K O’Kelly, MD is the physician I found for her in her area – not hard to find a physician and especially only keying in three key words! She was quite happy for what I did for her and gave me a little gift for helping her!
Scrap book scissors
Instead of purchasing welding equipment – I got myself four pairs of scrap booking scissors! I was thrilled to find these at Dollarama because I’ve been looking for them for so long. I didn’t want to purchase them at Michael’s Craft Store because they were too expensive. But look – for four pairs of scissors for 2 bucks?! I had to get it without even thinking about it. I guess I’ll get hubby’s welding equipment next time! I’m going to get busy for these couple of weeks updating my scrapbook now – excited to use these scissors!!!
Shopping for gifts
When it comes down to giving gifts – I like to be thoughtful about it. I want the gift to have a meaning and the person would have good use for it. So yes – I do take a lot of time to shop around. This time around – I’m buying a gift for my brother for his 20th birthday. I’m thinking of getting him the Garmin chirp – since he does like to travel around and this will be very useful for him.
My Beauty Diary masks from First Markham Place
This time around – I got My Beauty Diary masks from First Markham Place because we were nearby at Home Depot to pick up a tool balancer – so it was convenient for us to drop by and grab the masks. A pack of these masks will last me for a good 3 months of use. They come in all types of scents and flavors too and each box is at $15.99 tax included. I highly recommend them because they are very moisturizing and affordable!
