Black Swan DVD

I’ve been reading a lot of reviews upon the Black Swan movie – the cover interests me and after reading the synopsis – I feel like I really want to watch this movie when it comes out from DVD. I enjoy watching movie at home more than the theater – am I weird or what? I just feel like watching a movie at the theater is not very comfortable and you can’t bring your own snacks in. It may be different in other countries though.  But I’ll have to go out and get this movie when it’s out on DVD – I can’t wait! Or maybe I can order the Black Swan DVD online and have it shipped to my house. That would be a faster process eh? The other thing I love about DVD is that we can keep it after we are finish with it – we have a huge collection with DVDs – over a hundred at home. I wonder if we will ever re-watch everything one day. Maybe when we get old and have nothing better to do? Who knows right? Some of our friends and families borrow DVDs too – but I do have complaints about it. It’s when they don’t return it after they borrow it – isn’t that kind of annoying? It totally annoys me – but we couldn’t say “No – you can’t borrow it” – that would be mean. Anyways have you all watched the Black Swan yet? What would you rate this movie out of 10? The Closet 異塚 :: Chinese Movie

Did you watch this yet??? Scary movie would not be a movie I pick out but of course – I live with the other half too and he likes to watch these kind of movie. I can chose not to watch it but when he’s watching next to me in the middle of the night – I just couldn’t help it.

In the beginning of this movie – it freaked me out because the little girl and her mother keeps popping out of nowhere. It was just FREAKY to me. I was behind the blankets. When it gets near the end – it wasn’t as freaky and scary. More like we finally get the storyline of the movie.

The storyline is basically the little girl’s mother always gets physically and verbally abuse by the husband and every time they are in a fight – the little girl hides. She either goes under the table or goes to the next house. The scary part is that the mother and the little girl always goes to next door’s neighbor’s house in the middle of the night. They even go into the house. The neighbor found out that the little girl’s mother has mental problems from all the abuse from the husband.

In Love with the Dead 塚愛

I watched “In love with the Dead” last night all by myself. I bought the DVD at the Chinese mall and decided to watch it right after. This movie is about this guy’s name Ming and his girlfriend name Wai that lives together. Later on the movie, Wai found out that she was diagnoses with cancer and Ming was still very in love with her. One day, Ming went on a business trip with his co-worker name Ting and under the influence, they had an affair. Wai does not know anything about it – she becomes more weird and scarier and even was missing for a few days and there was no way to find her. Suddenly, she appears to be back home out of nowhere. Ming found it weird and found himself puking worms and loosing hair just like Wai does…

What happened in this movie? You just got to watch the ending to understand. It kind of freaked me out a bit because of Wai appearing out of nowhere… Kind of scary!!

RIP Michael Jackson

Today last year, he left his children, his family and all his fans. It was the biggest event that happen in June 2009. Almost everyone on facebook had “RIP Michael Jackson” on it. He made a difference in peoples life. His talents brings a lot of fans. Really, without knowing him after he past away was a regret to me. I basically judge him by his looks. I’m very wrong at that. Very wrong. After the day he past away, I search him up and watched documentaries of him. All the interviews he was in and his songs. Boy, he light up my heart. Really, with such nice person like this… He’s way too generous to the public that people take advantage of him.

RIP Michael. You’ll always be remembered.

The Backup Plan by Kate Angelo

Watched “The Backup Plan” at home by myself. Reason why? Because my fiance doesn’t like to watch lovey dovey movie, so I got to watch it myself right?

What do I think about this movie? I have to say it’s not a bad movie and it’s simple to understand. It’s a pretty much romantic movie. You see, I hardly watch any American Movies and the ones I would watch are romantic ones. Sometimes I wish my Fiance is as romantic. But sigh sigh sigh, boys will always be boys right? Anyways, getting back to the movie. The movie was not so bad and the plot was not too complicated to understand.

Here’s the cast: Zoe (Jennifer Lopez), Stan (Alex O’Loughlin), Olivia (Danneel Harris), Clive (Eric Christian Olsen), Dad (Anthony Anderson), Daphne (Noureen Dewulf), Mona (Michaela Watkins), Carol (Melissa McCarthy), Babyland Saldgirl (Jennifer Elise Cox), Arthur (Tom Bosley), and Nana (Linda Lavin).

This movie is about Zoe couldn’t find her Mr. Right, but wants a baby right away. She went for an artificial insemination that day and also met Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) when they we’re fighting over a taxi. Zoe and Stan fell in love with each other quickly after the first date, but Zoe never told stan about the insemination. A few days later she realize the was pregnant and tells Stan a few weeks later about what really happened. He was angry at first that she didn’t tell him earlier. He accepted the fact that Zoe was pregnant and stayed with her. Zoe turns out to be pregnant not only with one baby but two babies. Zoe keeps having this in her mind that, these babies were not Stan’s and he would not accept and become a father to them. She breaks off the relationship because of insecurities. Later on, she realize that Stan doesn’t have any intention of NOT being a father and wants to mend the relationship together.

Echoes of the Rainbow 歲月神偷

I watched this drama with my Fiance last night before going to bed, boy was this movie sad! It talks about life in 1960 and how they go through it all with being poor. This movie has gotten many different kinds of awards and you have to watch it to understand yourself. After watching this movie, I went out today and bought a DVD for my in-laws to watch. It’s more in there age and they would love it. Hope you all enjoyed it like I did ! Comment below if you watched it to tell me what you think! The ending was just too sad!

The Valentines Day Movie

I was supposedly going to watch this movie on Valentines Day with my Fiance like a month ago, but I got lazy and didn’t want to go out. So he bought me the movie instead. Which he promised he’ll watch with me, but I end up watching it myself because he was at work! haha.

I watched this movie on Friday afternoon at home by myself. How was the movie? I have to say, not what I expected. I got to re-watch it because I was too busy multi-tasking, I basically skipped half the movie. This time for sure, I’m watching with my other half =) I’ll post up the Synopsis when I re-watch it.

Marine 2

If you are not familiar with the main character in this movie, it is because he’s from WWE Wrestling. If you follow wrestling you would know he’s a wrestler.

I wanted this with my other half today and it was a great movie. Can’t even keep my eyes off the TV because of all the actions in it. It felt a little short but I believe I sat through two hours already. Gotta give it a thumbs up for Ted Dibiase for his great acting skills. I believe it’s his first time acting too. Nice job & well done.

2012 Movie by Shawn Edwards

Watched this movie 2 nights ago with my Fiance’. It’s a 3 hour long movie. What do I think about the movie? I have to say, it’s a good movie, but it can be more real. I enjoyed it though!

2012, December 12th – End of the World. What do you guys think? It scares me to think about this date. Why? It’s because I know I still have along road to walk. I had a conversation with my Fiance 2 nights ago after watching this movie..

Me: Baby, you better not go to work for that week…
Him: alright..
Me: I think by 2012, we’ll have a baby by than. I would be pretty satisfied with life already if its really the end of the world..
Him: I won’t be satisfy yet, I still want to watch my kid to grow up and I still want to be a grandpa one day…
Me: ohhhhhhhh… hahaha silent.
